Spells and Skills

Ok, eventually I hope to make this section more pretty, but I'll explain the spell system here.  First, there are eight "groups" of spells that can be gained at certain times:

Group 0:   These are the base class spells that can be gained on creation.  The majority of these spells and skills can only be used by one or two of the 4 classes.

Group 1:  These are available after completing Rebirth the first time.  Any class may gain them, but certain classes are better suited for them then others.  If your class is not suited for a specific group, then the spells are not usable until higher levels and will not be as powerful.  If you've ever played on a ROM mud that hasn't adjusted what warriors can gain, then you know why this is necessary (all they needed was steal and no other classes were needed!).

Group 2:  Follows the same rules as G1 except these are available after the second pass through Rebirth.  Both groups 1 and 2 are a  little more powerful than (most) group 0 skills/spells.

Group 3:  Follows the same rules as G1 and G2 except these are available after the first pass through reawakening.  These are more powerful than previous groups.

Group 4:  Follows the same rules as G3 except these are available after the second pass through Reawakening.

Group 5:  Follows the same rules as G1-G4 except these groups are available after the first pass through Renewal.  These spells are noticebly more powerful than the ones in previous groups.

Group 6:  Follows the same rules as G5 except these are available after the second pass through Renewal.  These spells are the most powerful mortal spells in the game!

Group 7+:  This includes rebirth spells, clan spells, and any misc. spells the immortals may decide to leave around in the game.

Mastery: You can master a class at Legend 5 and gain new skills.  NOTE: you will need to quest for higher spells in these groups.

You may only gain <1 plus number of remorts> of each Group 1 through 6.  Once you have gained all the groups in a certain Group, the others disappear from "gain list".  Any time we refer to something as a "Group1" or "Group4" spell, etc.  We mean something from above.
