Clan System

Clans are much like the clans in a stock ROM 2.4 with some enhancements as well.  Changes include clan halls, clan equipment and potions, a channel to talk to clan members, a recruit stage, teams, and clan spells.  Clans are also allowed to have a mortal leader.  They may help the patron immortal run the clan, or if the immortal chooses to do so, the mortal leader may run the clan themselves.

Although these spells aren't in the game yet, we were thinking of allowing the following to be clan spells that will be added in 2006.  Each clan may have five of the following choices.
 

  • One "reckless" spell.  These spells do extra damage but permantly deplete one or more stats
  • One "drain" spell (level 350).  Convert all of a player's mana or movement into one blast (I suppose hps could be used too, but this doesn't seem very useful).
  • One heal spell (average healing strength).
  • Up to two armor spells.
  • One area spell at least level 101
  • Scalp, a backstab type skill (level 300).
  • A hold spell or skill at least level 80.
  • A lag spell or skill at least level 150.
  • Either counterspell or reflect (level 350, 301).
  • Counterskill (level 350).
  • Any number of skills or spells not listed and approved by the IMPs.
